CITYNET Mobile Email+:

Q. What is the difference between your Blackberry Enterprise Service and your CITYNET Mobile Email+?
A. Basically the same except your internet access (IPPP) goes through your carrier instead of us. Your inbox is not the typical Blackberry inbox due to RIM Patent issues but Calendar, Contacts and tasks are the same. You still get the same PUSH email, Contacts, Calendar and tasks sync. Also there are NO security policies applied to your device and overall is a cheaper alternative to BES service. This service is run from state-of-the-art UNIX servers for the best Speed, Efficiency and Security possible.

Q. What type of internet access must by blackberry or smartphone have?
A. ANY including WIFI. Thats the best part of this service, no 3RD party BES access fees from your carrier. You dont even need an internet plan from them, you can just use WIFI or hotspots if u wish!

Q. What settings do i need to use this service?
A. Once you have established an account with us we will issue a sync client license for your blackberry (Smart Phones already have this). You must then configure the client with your account username, password and the sync server address of sync.mobile.citynt.com.

Q. What Carriers do you support?
A. We currently support all carriers who provide BIS Services.

Q. Do i need a blackberry plan to use your service?
A. YES in order to use ANY BES service's (Including other companies like us) you need an active Blackberry data plan with your carrier, NOT a TCP Plan.

Q. Do you allow Outlook connectivity?
A. YES depending on the BES plan you select.

Q. What data gets synchronized?
A. Email, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes, and a device Backup incase you change devices.

Q. Do you provide installation support?
A. YES we provide scheduled remote installation support as well as Phone and Email support.

Q. If theres a problem with my device not syncing or working as expected can i call or email your company for support?
A. Of course! We would love to assist you in getting your service with us up and running.

Q. Do you provide refunds?
A. YES. If for some reason "ON OUR END" we cannot provision your account and provide you service we will provide a FULL refund. Accounts who signup but are not provisioned properly by your carrier are NOT eligable for refunds due to licensing costs.
